RB's First 4th of July

It was a very busy holiday weekend for our household. We started off the 4th of July weekend on Friday, July 1 for our annual 4th of July party out at Nana and Grandpa French's home. It was a very hot day but RB did so well and met lots of new people. The next day mommy and daddy had to go to work so Nana was so wonderful as to come over and watch RB while we worked. That same dad Papa Tom was driving up from Texas to spend the weekend with us. Papa Tom got to ourt place shortly after mommy and daddy got home from work. We went to grab dinner and then out to watch the fireworks put on by the town that night. RB loved to watch all the pretty fireworks in the sky! Sunday we took it easy and did a little shopping then to Uncle Pat and Aunt Megs for dinner. On Monday, July 4 we went back out to Uncle Pat's and Aunt Meg's and ate and shot off fireworks all night. I think RB first 4th of July turned out very well!

RB First Wedding

RB went to his first wedding with Mommy and Daddy in Omaha, NE the last weekend of June. He did such a good job and had a blast at the reception watching everyone around him!

Happy First Father's Day!

Daddy and RB had a great first father's day together. They spent the morning snuggling together in bed. Mommy went to Matt Talbet (the local homeless shelter that we serve food at) that morning and left the boys at home to hang out together. Then Mommy and Nana came home and picked up Daddy and RB. We then headed out to the Lincoln Children's Zoo. Daddy had been wanting to go there with RB for a while so it was a perfect treat to his First Father's Day. After that we headed out to Nana and Grandpa French's house for dinner and presents. I think it turned out to be a very great first father's day
